What does your weekly workout schedule look like?

A typical weekly workout schedule for me consists of 3 lower body days, 2 upper body days and 2 rest days. I throw a little bit of core in here and there, and no cardio.I don’t do cardio because I’m not trying to lose weight/be in a caloric deficit or increase endurance. Body building/weight lifting is the type of training I like to do for my personal goals, which are to build muscle and strength!

What is your favorite exercise and why?

My favorite exercise... that’s such a hard one! I’ve always loved heavy sumo deadlifts. It’s a great full body exercise and I feel super bad ass doing them!

What is the most underrated exercise?

I think an underrated exercise specifically for men is hip thrusts. I understand men don’t want to do them because they might feel silly or they think it’s just for girls who want bigger glutes, but hip thrusts are an incredible exercise for increasing glute strength. Having stronger glutes will allow you to be stronger in other lifts such as squats and deadlifts.

What is one mistake you see most people make while exercising?

The biggest mistake I see people make when exercising is choosing weight over form. Not many people like to start from the beginning and learn how to do the movement properly before adding weight. Having poor form reduces the mind-muscle connection and increases the risk of injury.

What is one workout myth you want to bust?

Workout myth buster: there are no exercises that will get rid of your hip dips! They are there because of your skeletal anatomy, and no matter how many IG workouts you do that claim will make them go away, they won’t. Embrace them!
